Updated minimum ages for participants - July 2021: War is an armoured combat activity. No person under the age of 16 can authorise for armoured combat according to Society rule changes in Corpora in July 2020.

Plumed Auxiliaries: Non-contact participants (including banner-bearers) were removed from Society rules in August 2006. Lochac requested an exemption to maintain the use of non-contact participants on the field - so now our banner bearers and non-contact archers wear plumes.

-*How can 14 year olds be allowed to be shot by missiles as plumed auxillaries, but must be 16 to be on the field in a non-combat role?  I suspect this is a hangover from before there were plumed participants, and can be changed to 14 as the minimum for all participants except marshals.
