Siege Ammunition

  1. Siege engine ammunition must not be heavier than 0.45 kilograms in weight.
  2. Siege class ammunition must be coloured with yellow tape as described below, in order to denote it as siege class ammunition.
  3. Siege ammunition is not allowed to be fired from small arms or thrown by hand.
  4. All siege ammunition must labelled for the purpose of identification in line with requirements for arrows.
  5. Siege ammunition is only allowed to be constructed of the following materials:
    1. Open-cell or closed-cell foam.
    2. Tennis balls
      1. Tennis balls must be punctured with a hole less than 2 millimetres in diameter, or a slit less than 3.75 centimetres, in order to relieve internal pressure.
  6. High-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe (commonly used as irrigation pipe) used in siege ammunition must meet one the following three sets of standards:
