- This Royal Proclamation gives effect to some temporary rule changes for Fencing and Armoured Combat. These temporary changes will expire after 30 days unless renewed by a further proclamation, or incorporated into the handbooks.

Fencing inspection requirements during COVID-19
In Australia
- At the request of the Kingdom Seneschal, Marshals carrying out inspections for adult and youth rapier combat must wear fencing gloves and observe appropriate distancing as outlined in the low contact inspection procedure.
- If distance cannot be maintained, Marshals must wear face coverings.
- Please undertake these steps to ensure the safety of Marshals and combatants.
In New Zealand
- At Alert Levels 1 and 2, inspections may be conducted as normal or using the low contact inspection procedure. Face coverings are not required.
- SCA combat activities are prohibited at Alert Levels 3 and 4.

Armoured Combat inspection requirements during COVID-19
