Lochac Fencing Rules
- Minor changes to Lochac Fencing Rules - 15 May 2021
- Gives effect to changes in version 5.1 of the Lochac Fencing Handbook.

Fencing inspection requirements during COVID-19
In Australia
- At the request of the Kingdom Seneschal, Marshals carrying out inspections for adult and youth rapier combat must wear fencing gloves and observe appropriate distancing as outlined in the low contact inspection procedure.
- If distance cannot be maintained, Marshals must wear face coverings.
- Please undertake these steps to ensure the safety of Marshals and combatants.
In New Zealand
- At Alert Levels 1 and 2, inspections may be conducted as normal or using the low contact inspection procedure. Face coverings are not required.
- SCA combat activities are prohibited at Alert Levels 3 and 4.

Armoured Combat inspection requirements during COVID-19
In Australia
- At the request of the Kingdom Seneschal, Marshals conducting armoured combat inspections need to wear a face covering and gloves until advised otherwise.
- Please undertake these steps to ensure the health and safety of Marshals and combatants.
In New Zealand
- At Alert Levels 1 and 2, inspections may be conducted as normal. Face coverings are not required.
- SCA combat activities are prohibited at Alert Levels 3 and 4.
