Chain of Command and Reporting

Chain of command

  1. A siege marshal can have multiple parallel chains of command to work within.
    1. Combat siege that takes place on the armoured combat field falls under the jurisdiction of the armoured combat marshallate, so siege marshals will work under the marshal-in-charge of that activity - eg in a war scenario, the siege marshals escalate to the marshal-in-charge.
    2. Particularly siege-related issues will also need to be escalated to the siege marshal-in-charge for the event.
    3. If target siege is occuring in the same place and time as target archery and thrown weapons activities, then the siege marshal will need to jointly work with the target archery and thrown weapons marshallate.
  2. The Deputy Earl Marshal for Siege (Kingdom Siege Marshal) is a deputy of the Earl Marshal, not a deputy of the Kingdom Armoured Combat Marshal or Kingdom Archery Marshal.
