:Non-contact participants (including banner-bearers) were removed from Society rules in August 2006.  Lochac requested an exemption to maintain the use of non-contact participants on the field - so now our banner bearers and non-contact archers wear plumes.

:Plumed auxiliaries are called auxiliaries to get around the age restrictions on combatants being at least 16 years old for armoured combat.
:Pole weapons must not be used as banner poles as plumed auxiliaries may not carry any weapon.
