If you happen to be fighting between 23 Dec 2023 and 1 January 2024, be aware that not all of the new rule updates may have been included yet. If you use updated rules in the wiki that day, that's acceptable as they have already been approved by the Board and Committee, just make sure you and your opponent and your marshal agree which set of rules to play by.

New rules - 1 January 2024

Version 6 of the Fencing Combat Handbook comes into effect on 1 January 2024.

The wiki was updated to the new rules on 23 December 2023 due to the holiday period.

To reference the current rules until 1 January 2024, please use the pdf of version 5.3.

If you happen to be fighting between 23 Dec 2023 and 1 January 2024 and use the updated rules in the wiki that day, that's acceptable as they have already been approved by the Board and Committee, just make sure you and your opponent and your marshal agree which set of rules to play by.
